Join us for PRAYER & FASTING FROM JAN 20TH TO FEB 9TH
There is one God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession and in His imminent return
In the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His fruit and gifts available in the Church The Bible is the word of God – authoritative and everlasting, and the foundation of all Christian doctrine
In the existence of an evil spiritual known as Satan, Lucifer or the Devil
In the spiritually lost condition of all people and the essential need for the “new birth” by faith in Jesus Christ
In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers, with the normal evidence of speaking in other tongues In the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and baptism by full immersion in water for all believers
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting separation from God
In the church being the body of Christ, and each member being an active part of a local church, fulfilling the Great Commission.
Our values are a reflection of who and what we are and what we want to be. The values for Hope Church and our Connect Groups are a reflection of Acts 2: 42-47
To Build His Church and to see the lost saved
To place the Word of God above every opinion or circumstance that comes against our lives.
To actively be involved in prayer whether corporately or privately, knowing that prayer moves the hand of God.
To actively pursue healthy relationships which promote the welfare of the other party.
To always do the very best you can with what God has given you.
To recognise that without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we cannot change the world, but through His power, nothing is impossible.
The desire and conviction that I am an integral part of the Body, His Church and that I will commit myself to fulfil whatever is needed to see it grow.
I believe that all of my material possessions, time and energy come from God and that He wants me to use all of them wisely for the purposes of His Kingdom.
An attitude that nothing is beneath my ability to accomplish and that I am willing to serve in whatever way is needed.
A belief that every person has the responsibility to take the news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people and that this is not only the role or responsibility of a few.
An attitude that Sunday services are important for me to be built into all that God has for me, but also an important place for me to come and input into others’ lives.
